The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ foretold the conquest of Constantinople, commending the excellence of its future leader and army. This prophecy was realized by Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatiḥ, the seventh Ottoman Khalifah, who ruled for 31 years. Renowned for his bravery, strong faith, and dedication to Islamic principles, Al-Fatiḥ is celebrated as a founder of Ottoman rule and a model of courageous leadership. His greatest achievement was the capture of Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) after a challenging 50-day siege, during which he displayed remarkable perseverance. After the victory, Al-Fatiḥ transformed the city into a center of Islamic scholarship, founding schools and offering stipends to students. He attracted eminent scholars such as Maulana Ali Al-Qawshaji and Al-Fadid At-Tusi, helping make Istanbul a hub of knowledge and pride for the Muslim world. His contributions in establishing a strong Islamic educational foundation and supporting scholars have left a lasting legacy in the city and the broader Muslim community.
