Allah tells us that Al-Waleed will be cast into the hellfire in 74:26. Similarly, in another verse Allah explains the fate of Abu Lahab. One of these men could have chosen to accept Islam, which would have proven the Qur'an wrong. However, the Qur'an stated that they would not accept Islam and would end up in Hell. As predicted, both men died without ever embracing Islam.
