It has been said that Solomon was the son of David, son of Jesse, son of Aweid, son of Aber, son of Salmun, son of Nashun, son of Amenadab, son of Iram, son of Hasrun, son of Fars, son of Judah, son of Prophet Jacob, son of Prophet Isaac, son of Prophet Abraham.
Solomon was granted prophethood after his father David. He also took control of the kingdom - Solomon's kingdom was greater than many of the kings that came before and after him. He had huge armies of men jinn, birds whose language he understood and communicated with as well as other animals and other things. He was granted knowledge and intelligence.
We hear about a time when Solomon gathered his armies and was enroute when ant saw them coming into the valley and called out to her other ants. Solomon heard this and smiled making a beautiful dua. Fun fact: notice the pronoun to describe the worker ant is 'her' - we now know that worker foraging ants are only female. The word "said" is Kala (قال) for males, whereas Kalat ( قَالَتْ) is for females. The Quran used Kalat قَالَتْ (female). Notice the accuracy of the Quran with even the smallest details!
And David was succeeded by Solomon, who said, “O people! We have been taught the language of birds, and been given everything ˹we need˺. This is indeed a great privilege.”27:16
Solomon’s forces of jinn, humans, and birds were rallied for him, perfectly organized.27:17
And when they came across a valley of ants, an ant warned, “O ants! Go quickly into your homes so Solomon and his armies do not crush you, unknowingly.”27:18
So Solomon smiled in amusement at her words, and prayed, “My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favours which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please you. Admit me, by Your mercy, into ˹the company of˺ Your righteous servants.”27:19
