It is narrated that Elisha came after Elias. They both lived in the land of Ba'labak (Heliopolis, The City of the Sun). He advised his people to the way of Allah, calling them to the truth until he died. He is mentioned twice in the Quran.

˹We also guided˺ Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot, favouring each over other people ˹of their time˺.6:86
